A while ago, I saw a discussion, more like an argument about Christianity, God, things like that. A lot of it was about controversial topics like sexual orientation, but I remember a comment saying "You think The Most High loves everybody?" and this was coming from a supposed Christian. So, I just wanted to say, yes the Most High really does love everybody. Remember in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world..." and Romans 5:8 "But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Even Matthew 5:45 tells us that "He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust."
Think of it like a father and his children, because that's really what it is. Our father loves all of His children, and we all disobey Him sometimes, some more than the others. When we do, He chastises us so that we learn from it. But if you keep offending Him over and over again, all the time, you're more likely to receive more scolding and less relaxing conversations, but that DOES NOT mean that your father doesn't love you. Obey more, connect more, and tap into His generous love, I promise it will change your life.
Also, God is not male. He's not female either, He is God. You can't place Him into human categories, it's just that we refer to Him as we refer to males. There are some reasons for this, mind you this is just my opinion on why, one of these is probably the most obvious one. Jesus came to earth as a male, and we learn that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are one, so it only makes sense to use the same pronouns for them.
Number two is that God's relationship with man began at the beginning of time, back in the olden days when men were always in charge, and women were just background characters, so it only makes sense that they would refer to the most powerful being as a man, due to the societal construct at that time.
Lastly, the role God has in our lives, if you are in a relationship with Him, is more like a father-like role. But remember, God is whoever you need, whether it's a mother, a sister, a brother, a friend, a father, a teacher, a leader. He supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), so whatever you need Him to be in your life, He'll be.
