Repentance. Again.

Hello there!
So, what do you do when you read some random girl's blog post on repentance two weeks ago, really took it to heart, and then sinned again? The answer is in the title. You repent. Again.
Although it may not seem like it because you feel bad or guilty about something, repentance is a good thing. And in all honesty, we all need to do it pretty much on a daily basis (and again, I'm not talking about some addendum line at the end of your nightly prayers). Think about it like this: yes, you sinned, but God loves you so much that he sent Jesus to die so that you can repent and not have to be away from him any longer. Repentance is a good thing.
We sin, all the time: knowingly, unknowingly; intentionally, unintentionally. It's part of our fallen nature. Where the difference comes in, however, is our attitude towards it. Looking back, I see that I've always had a hard time repenting. Sometimes, I didn't even bother, either because it didn't seem like that big a deal, or I didn't want to deal with the guilt so I didn't think about it. But I've learned that repentance is a good thing! It's not a punishment; it's our chance to get right with God again! It's God holding out His hand to us. Don't avoid it, don't postpone it. Repent today.

This is a really short post, but I hope you were blessed nevertheless. Peace and love of Christ be with you all!
