Pointing people to Christ

Imagine the simplest road sign that would assist you in getting to your destination: a simple arrow that shows you, “this way.” That’s essentially what we’re called to be: road signs pointing people to true life, peace, and happiness in Jesus.

Obviously, Jesus doesn’t exist in one single physical place, so we can’t just stand outside and point people to a building. We point people to Jesus through our words, actions, and interactions. Matthew 5:16 says,

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

When we speak words of life, act with love, and interact in meaningful, godly ways, people are bound to notice. They will be able to tell the difference between us and people of the world, and that’s how we point people to Jesus.
