Hi! I'm so glad you and I are here in this new year, and I'm grateful for God's faithfulness that made it possible. This is my first post this year, so I'll keep it light and simple. First, Happy New Year! Second, I thought it would be a good idea to start the year off with a couple statements to give you strength throughout the year.
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
Philippians 4:13
Whatever goals you would like to accomplish in this year, or changes you would like to make, you can put into the verse and repeat it to yourself until you believe it.
I can _________ through him who gives me strength.
"If God is for us, who can be against us?"
Romans 8:31b
You are going to face challenges, obstacles, giants, but remember you have the backing of the Almighty God!
"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
Romans 8:37
You are more than a conqueror! You are on the winning side! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You are loved, and you are a precious child of God.
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:38-39
The love God has for you is immeasurable, and it will never run out. Nothing can ever separate you from His love. He won't ever stop loving you. It's unconditional.
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19
God can and will take care of all of your needs: spiritual, physical, material, financial, emotional. Just trust in Him, but don't forget to do your part.
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
Psalms 73:26
Even if all else fails you, God will uphold you, strengthen you, and carry you through.
"And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you."
Philippians 1:6 (AMPC)
You are an unfinished masterpiece, a work in progress. Anything you go through this year is all part of the process, and that may not necessarily be comforting to know, but God will continue working, completing, and perfecting!
Remember, you got this, and God's got you! Happy New Year! Peace and love of Christ be with you!
