Merry Christmas everyone!!!
In the spirit of Christmas today, let's all remember what it's really all about: commemorating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. What better way to do so than by doing good to others, just like He did for us?
Galatians 6:10 says, "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." Today, we have the opportunity, and doing good doesn't have to mean giving someone something, although that can be part of it. The AMPC version says, "So then, as occasion and opportunity open up to us, let us do good [[i]morally] to all people [not only [j]being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage]. Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith [those who belong to God’s family with you, the believers]."
So, say a prayer for a friend or even an enemy today, or wish someone a merry Christmas sincerely, as I do to you today. Merry Christmas and may the peace and love of Christ be with you all, now and always!
