Lean not on your own understanding

There's so many protests in our country, and probably in every society that exists, or has ever existed in the world. Why, because humans are incapable of perfection: creating perfect legislations, or living perfectly. So, there's always some loophole or unjust aspect that people are ever ready to protest. But God is just and perfect.
He has created a perfect set of instructions for us to live by, rules that are in our best interests. It is important for us to constantly rember that God doesn't want us to live boring terrible lives. It is especially important to keep this in the back of our minds in a society where there's constant pressure to go with the trends, whether good or bad. We're not meant to blend in, stand out!
So, why do we always protest God's laws, trying to find loopholes to "disobey without actually disobeying?" We all know how hindsight works, just like how we thought wearing those shoes were cool that day, and a month later, we find another pair of shoes that would have gone much better with that outfit, and suddenly we're wishing we had saved it. We're human, we can only see as much as we can see, but God can see more than there is to see. God knows that in a month we would find that one pair of shoes that would take that oufit from a 7 to an 11/10. So, when He says, don't wear that outfit today, don't, because He has much greater plans for you.
That's why the Bible, in Matthew 18:3, says that unless we become as children, we will never enter the kingdom of Heaven. Because children are much more willing to trust, and to obey their father, than rebellious teenagers, or independent adults.
I understand that it is very difficult being a Christian today, it's not meant to be easy. But, always pray whenever you find yourself searching for loopholes. That's what I did. I didn't receive an answer immediately, but a few weeks later, I gained understanding as to why it is what it is. I'll be praying for you as well.
Peace and love of Christ be with you all!
