Christianity is not just a Religion, It's a Lifestyle

Christianity is not just a religion, it is first and foremost a lifestyle. The word in itself means Christ-like, so we have to live like Christ, not just worship Him. It should be an important factor to consider before making any decision, be it as minor as what song to listen to, or as major as forming a value system.

In this day and age, everybody is a jack of all trades, participating in multiple activities, and having many aspects of their lives that are even opposing sometimes. So, compartmentalizing has become a useful skill. Once you leave the gates of your first workplace, switch off from it, and once you get to school, switch on school mode, and so on. Unfortunately, for some of us, our faith has fallen victim to this "useful skill". It's almost like we stop being Christians, or at least emulation-worthy Christians, when we leave our church or prayer meeting. But you know what, we never leave the church.

The Bible tells us that we are the body of Christ, his church, not the bulding where we just

happen to hold gatherings. And surely we all know that our God is omnipresent, always there, and always watching. So take your faith with you wherever you go today. Whatever it is that you would not do if God were a pair of physical eyes watching and holding us accountable for our every movement, don't do it. Because remember, He is. Our Christianity swithch should remain on permanently, it shouldn't even have an off switch.

Peace and love of Christ be with you!
